Do you have text messages that you want to print from your iPhone or android? It could be that you need the text messages in hard copy for business or to present to the court.
Now, it is not possible to print text messages directly from your phone. That’s why you will need Backuptrans Android iPhone SMS/MMS Transfer and a computer.
So, how do you print text messages using the software from your android or iPhone device?
Below is a simple guide to help you out.
Step 1: Install Backuptrans Software
Backuptrans Android iPhone SMS/MMS Transfer is software that allows iPhone and Android users to transfer their text messages to the computer.
The first thing to do is to install the software into your computer. Download the latest version if you are doing it for the first time. If you already have the software, update it to the latest version. Doing this increases the chances of compatibility with your iPhone or Android.
Step 2: Connect Your Device to the Computer
Connect your iPhone or android to the computer using a USB cable. Once they are installed, the phones will appear on Devices list on the Backuptrans software.
If you can’t see the android phone after you connect it using the USB, try using wifi.
Step 3: Set Up Your Printer
Set up your printer by connecting it to your PC. Perform a print test to ascertain the printer is working with no hitches. Load enough printing papers depending on the amount of text messages data you want to print. Always preview before you print to ensure you are printing your work correctly.
Step 4: Print all your Text Messages
If you want to print the text messages from all your contacts, there are three ways to go about it.
You can click on your android or iPhone device from the Devices list, go to the toolbar and then click “Print SMS”. The other way is to go to File then Print SMS. Alternatively, go to the Devices list and right click the phone from which you want to print your messages then select “Print SMS”.
Step 5: Print Single Contact Text Messages from Android or iPhone
There are also three ways in which you can print text messages from one contact.
Select the contact from which you want to print the text messages.
In method 1, choose the contact from the Android or iPhone device from which you want to print your messages. Click the toolbar icon and then press Print SMS. Preview before you click print.
The other alternative is to go to File then Print SMS. Another method is to go to the contact and then right-click and select Print this contact SMS. It will print only text messages for that contact.
Step 6: Print Multiple Text Messages
To print selected text messages, go to SMS list and choose the messages you want to print. You can either go to the toolbar and choose “Print SMS” or go to File then Print SMS or right click on the messages you have selected and then click on Print Selected SMS.
Step 7: Sort Out Your Print Outs
Since you will have printed lots of text messages data, you probably will not use all that data. Therefore, sort out the printout, retain what you want and then safely discard the unwanted prints preferably using a paper shredder. Remember, text messages are private and should remain so.
